Central Passage
Acts 25-26
Book of Acts

Most of us have heard the old Invitation Hymn, "Almost Persuaded". It is taken from King Agrippa's comment to the Apostle Paul in Acts 26. Paul  defends himself and takes the opportunity to bear a witness to Christ before the incestuous, immoral King Agrippa and his sister/lover Bernice. Many scholars believe Agrippa was mocking Paul when he said "Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian?". Regardless, the passage gives us a wonderful picture of how to share our faith in difficult situations.
